Management Team: Biography
Donald Drew
Donald R. Drew, is Chief Operating Officer of Green Source Holdings LLC. Mr. Drew’s duties include managing
operations, new business development and sales, and product development for all business lines.
Prior to joining Green Source, Mr. Drew was the managing member of various commercial real estate entities with
investments in Maryland and Florida. Mr. Drew focused on acquisitions and value creation through leasing,
development and repositioning of the various properties.
Prior to real estate investing, Mr. Drew was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Rodgers &
Associates. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations of Rodgers, a 70-person civil engineering firm.
Prior to joining Rodgers, Mr. Drew was the Senior Vice President of Loan Origination for Criimi Mae Inc. He
staffed and managed six national production offices (Washington, D.C., Boston, MA, Memphis, TN, Houston, TX,
Chicago, IL and San Francisco, CA) employing 62 individuals. He was responsible for the development, marketing
and closing functions of the “No Lock” commercial mortgage program, which closed in excess of $1 billion in
commercial mortgages, and completed a $500 million securitization.
Prior to joining Criimi Mae, Mr. Drew was a Vice President and Relationship Manager with First Union National
Bank of Virginia where he was responsible for growing existing client relationships and new business development.
In addition, he directed a team in the underwriting, approval, closing and servicing of commercial real estate
loans.
Mr. Drew also served as Senior Vice President and Unit Leader of First American Metro Corporation (later First
Union) where he was responsible for the management and day-to-day operation of three teams responsible for the
collection, restoration and maintenance of a portfolio of impaired assets
Prior to First American, Mr. Drew served as the Chief Operating Officer of Aldre, Inc. There, he was responsible
for the operational, financial and administrative management of the real estate development company.
Mr. Drew began his career in 1979 with Sovran Bank of Maryland (now Bank of America). Over the next eleven
years he held varied positions involved with real estate financing and commercial loans.
Mr. Drew holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Shepherd College located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and
a Masters of Business Administration / Finance from the American University located in Washington, D.C.
